This project is a small collection of 35 photos, chosen from nearly 100k raw shots taken over 30 days. The selection rate ended up being about 0.035%, which just shows how much trial and error went into this rather than any kind of “skill.” Street photography was definitely a challenge for me, and there was a big learning curve, and plenty of moments where I probably made people uncomfortable without meaning to.

There were also a lot of mistakes along the way, such as walking straight into a pool with my camera bag on, breaking gear, forgetting my CFexpress card for an entire day, juggling side work, and getting burned by the sun more times than I can count. Still, all of it was part of the process, and I had a lot of fun pushing myself and trying things I don’t usually get to do back home in Canada.
